This is the program's public record. Every year's award is recorded here. The recipient is named only with their permission, together with a note that the school confirmed their enrollment before the award was paid.

First cycle: the award is announced on February 10, 2027

You can apply for the first $2,500 award until January 15, 2027. After that, one recipient is selected under the official rules, the recipient's school confirms enrollment, and the entry is added to this page.

What this page will show

For every cycle, this page records two things no matter what:

That the $2,500 award for that year was made, and the date.
That the recipient's enrollment was confirmed with their school before payment.

If the recipient agrees in writing, the entry also carries what they choose to share: a first name or full name, their school, a photo. The recipient decides how much. The program does not publish quotations or comments from recipients.

Choosing privacy

A recipient who prefers not to be named still receives the full $2,500. A recipient who agrees to be named should know that appearing on this page tells readers they are a first-generation student as this program defines it; that is the only thing about their family the page conveys, and no other detail about a recipient's family is ever published.
